Valerie Donati (President)
Valerie Donati has spent the last 15 years creating high impact communications campaigns and revenue streams for clients that range from prestigious cultural organizations to global lifestyle brands. She started her career in Miami where she co-founded an arts forum for emerging artists in the visual and performing arts. Moving to New York, Donati worked for several of the city's top public relations firms before heading up an in-house communications division for Toth Brand Imaging.
Donati founded Brand Building Communications in January 2007 in New York City and launched her LA office in 2008. In addition to pioneering a digital WOM practice, Donati created a community-based, online lifestyle news platform, 24/Savvy, in 2010. She is married to Simon McIntyre, Global Director of C3. Kelly Lynch (Manager)
Kelly Lynch came to New York City in 2001 to work in corporate events planning and began her career working for several international finance institutions. Making the transition from corporate events to consumer public relations, she joined the Brand Building team in 2004 as part of the beauty department and in her seven years has helped grow the mass consumer division to include not only beauty, but food, health, footwear, media and medical categories. Lynch has had extensive experience in launching consumer products on both national and regional levels and works as part of larger integrated marketing teams to ensure successful 360-degree campaigns.
In December 2008, she launched the firm's consumer engagement marketing (formally word-of-mouth) division to meet the growing need for brands to have a relevant and strategic social voice. With a focus on a publicist's communication expertise, she leads planning and strategies with her team for the agency's clients. Alexandra Alexeeva (Social Media Director)
With a mixture of passion, enthusiasm and strategic thinking, Alexandra Alexeeva manages all things social at Brand Building Communications. Alex joined Brand Building in 2007 as a tradional PR Account Executive and - keeping up with developments in the industry - quickly embraced social media and worked alongside Kelly Lynch to launch the firm's social media marketing division. Currently, she oversees both strategic planning and day-to-day activitation of social media campaigns.
During her years at Brand Building Communications, Alex has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from consumer product companies, such as L'Oreal Paris, Bausch & Lomb and several Mars Chocolate Brands, to non-profit brands, such as Charity: water, Here's Life Inner City and MedWish, to online-based properties, such as Fancast.com (now apart of Comcast's XfinityTV) and the new shoppable e-magazine LifestyleMirror.com
